London sites and sounds

Days in London

semi-overcast 20 °C

Having a great time in London. We went to the Billingsgate Fish Market at 5am on Saturday morning. It was full of people, smells, noise and fish. Every kind of fish there is. And they all tasted wonderful, after they were cooked. Wandered around the city some more and saw lots of sites. There was a London Open House Saturday and Sunday, which lets you go in to places that normally charge fees.

Went to meet Honorary Consul Mr. Seelig today and received my Burkina Faso visa. Everything went very smoothly. I would suggest, if you need a visa, get it in your host country, if possible. Otherwise, get it in the nearest capital. You might need to wait a few days, but the cost will be less. I still have the Mali visa to obtain in Nouakchott. Better one visa than two, though.

Last thing I have to do before leaving Thursday. I am ready. I will have to figure out how to link pictures to the post.

Next stop, Fez.
